Ruth Foster, Billy Winder, Steve Wilson & Chris Howard receive Queen's Diamond Jubilee medals

Four members of Cockermouth First Responders were awarded the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal in recognition of having provided at least five years of service. The medals were presented by the Mayor Allerdale, Carole Armstrong, and Paramedic, Ralph Palmer. Well done to you all!


British Heart Foundation grant helps buys First Responder defibrillators

 Thanks to a grant from the British Heart Foundation and the generosity of the people of Cockermouth who have donated to First Responders this year we have been able to purchase four new Zoll defibrillators, enabling team members to get to calls even more quickly.


Sellafield Donate £1000 to Cockermouth First Responders

Chris, Eric and Renee were invited to attend the Sellafield Centre to be part of a £10,000 charitable donation to 10 local charities nominated by Sellafield staff through their Peer2Peer safety reporting scheme.  Cockermouth CFR was lucky enough to be one of the ten charities nominated and we received £1000, which is absolutely fantastic!

Cockermouth First Responders provide first aid to Endurance GB

Cockermouth First Responders have been working with First Aid Associates to provide First Aid support to the Endurance GB Horse trial events. Here's a picture of Steve and Mel enjoying the sunny weather at Tebay!

Cockermouth School Supports First Responders

Fairfield School in Cockermouth managed to raise an amazing £353.71 for the First Responders!! A very big Thank You to all the pupils and staff that were involved!! Chris and Steve also had a great time going to the school to collect the cheque and meeting the kids! We liked the pictures that Chris and Steve saw so much we decided to use them on our website!
